As is plastered all over this site, my name is David Elshout.

I grew up in the south of Holland, beneath the rivers, and moved to Rotterdam in 1996, where I still reside. I graduated in 2001 at the Willem de Kooning Academy with a self styled curricullum. I'm sort of a Jack of all trades.

My passion is drawing and painting, and I'm a  communicator. Life, people I meet along the way, present endless opportunities to experience and learn. 

I've worked in: Drawing, Painting, Illustration, DTP, Art Direction ( photography / movie-shorts / exhibitions ), Conceptualizing, and International Communication.

My style is raw, yet intricate at the same time. Expression is what matters, and that's why I'm searching between the divides. Themes are earthly, as is my temperament.
